“You, you came?” Liza came stumbling to the door. “I knew, you’ll come one day” there were tears of hope in her eyes. “Look at my condition, how I had been waiting for you.” she was literally crying in happiness. “Come inside, why are you standing there on the door?”
“I have not come to sit here.” The man said in a very cold voice. “I have just come to tell you, do not wait for me ever. I have moved on in life”
“What do you mean?”
“I am getting married,” he said. “ forget me and the wherever relationship we had” There was a command. Liza couldn’t believe what he was saying. That man didn’t hear her plead. He sat in his car and drove off.
There was a lot of change in the weather today. It was thick and cloudy. It seemed that the storm was about to come. Bella was running rapidly towards her house. She had to reach home soon. The storm had almost started. She was frightened on the way.
Suddenly she saw her mother. Liza kept running on the road like a mad. “Mother!!” Bella cried. It was hard to walk through the dust storm. Liza was probably not in her senses. Little Bella was unable to chase her. Liza disappeared from her sight and vanished in the mist.
Bella did not know what to do. She was not far from the church. She ran back to the church and called Father. By then the storm had calmed down a bit. She returned to the same place with him from where she had last seen her mother. Liza was searched a lot, but she was not found anywhere. Bella started living in the church since then.
Past Ends,
“My child, won’t you come inside? It’s getting cold here” Father raised his hand on her shoulder. Bella smiled, “Yes father” they both walked in the quarter’s area. It was beside the main church building, on the same campus. Bella went to her room after taking dinner.
Bella never cried when she used to be with everyone, but in her room alone she used to cry a lot remembering Liza. Even today she was crying sitting on the bed. It was an extremely cold night. The window of her room was open. Bella started to tremble. She came to close the window wiping her face, There was a lot of mist outside. She was about to close the window when she saw someone running in the forest in front.
Bella thought there would be a wild animal. But the very next moment she thought, “if it was my mother?” She had last seen Liza running in a similar mist. Her eyes got bigger with the thought. She was sure God had listened to her wish. Instantly she wore her warmest coat and jumped out the window.
Bella went toward the forest. Though she was scared yet, she made her heart strong for her mother. She was walking through the forest when she heard the sound of dogs. Seemed they were barking at something or someone. She walked in the same direction.
When she went away, she suddenly got scared. There was a little boy, on whom the dogs were barking. His life was in danger. He had fallen on the ground and the animals were ready to harm him.
Bella did not delay. She quickly picked up some stones from the ground and started throwing them on animals. The dog’s anger increased further. Now they left that boy and moved towards Bella. She got scared too much. She steps back. Still, she was trying her best to throw the stone to the animals to keep them away.
A ferocious dog moved towards Bella. He was about to pounce on her, when suddenly there appeared a strong light. Bella closed her eyes in retort. Don’t know what happened then, but when she opened her eyes, all the animals had vanished.
Bella was very surprised. Then she heard the moaning of that boy. She ran to him avoiding the thought. The boy had a wound in his legs. Blood was oozing out of it. Perhaps the dogs had bitten him. That boy was in a lot of pain.
Quickly Bella brought some soil and put it on the wound to treat it.
“Ahhh! What are you doing?” The boy angrily pushed her hard. She fell down. Bella was going to shout in anger when her attention fell on his eyes. The boy’s eyes had turned glowing deep blue. She gasped.
